Built by product people, for product people.
Macks was built by a team with over two decades in the design and hardware industry.
Why we built Macks
We spent 20 years building product and watching others grind through the same problems. Seasonal shoots, reshoots, retail asset requests, resizing, line drawings. All of them need to get done, and much of it is very tedious. Done well it can have a massive impact, but much of the time assets fall between the cracks as you work across a myriad of tools.
With the advent of generative AI we built a tool designed specifically for our use case. We wanted an infrastructure system that makes building and releasing product easier, faster, and higher quality. So we built it.
What Macks is
Macks is infrastructure for physical product teams. It routes each job to the frontier model best suited to it, so output stays consistent across every task.
- Packshots, lifestyle imagery, and product video.
- Line drawings and spec assets for catalogues, retailers, and technical documentation.
- Background swap, relighting, upscaling on any image.
- Material, finish, and colour swaps while holding product geometry.
- Targeted fine edits for pixel-level fixes and retouching.
- Batch automations across a full catalogue, with presets that lock scenes and styling across SKUs.
- Gallery, asset management, and team sharing built in.
- No per-seat pricing. You pay for what you generate.
Our view on AI and photography
AI doesn't replace traditional photography. The best workflow is roughly 70–80% AI and 20–30% studio. Use AI to scale, iterate, and refresh. Use studio for hero campaigns where craft is the point.
The outcome
Lower cost per image. Faster turnaround. Higher conversion through consistent, on-brand visuals across channels. More time on design, less on asset management.
Who it's for
Any product team that needs visual content at a consistent quality, whether the catalogue is ten SKUs or ten thousand.
- Brands shipping new ranges who need packshots, lifestyle, video, and spec assets without reshooting every time.
- Retailers keeping imagery fresh and on-brand across channels.
- Designers and studios who want their time going into design, not a pipeline of tools.
