1. Who we are

Macks AI (also “we” or “us”) is a company operating under the laws of England and Wales, with users in the United Kingdom, United States, European Union, and elsewhere. This policy describes how we process personal information regardless of where you reside. We act as the data controller under UK/EU law and as a “business” under applicable US state privacy laws. 2. Data we process

Account details (name, email, hashed password, organisation), billing information, any content you upload or generate, and usage data such as pages viewed, features used, device information, approximate location from IP, and error logs. Support communications are also retained.

3. How we use it

To operate the services, authenticate your account, process payments, send service emails, respond to support, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. Our lawful bases are performance of contract, legitimate interests, consent (for optional marketing), and legal obligations.

4. Training

We do not use your uploaded content, prompts, or generated assets to train machine-learning models.

5. Sub-processors and storage

We use third-party sub-processors to provide hosting, payments, transactional email, analytics, and AI model inference. A current list is available on request. Data may be processed in the UK, EU, or US depending on the provider. We rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers where required.

6. Cookies

We use necessary cookies for authentication and session management. Analytics cookies measure aggregate usage. You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser.

7. Retention

Account and billing data is retained while your account is active and for up to seven years afterwards to meet tax and accounting obligations. Uploaded and generated content is deleted within 90 days of account closure unless you request earlier deletion.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR and US state privacy laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and comparable laws in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other states with similar frameworks), you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or opt out of certain processing, receive a portable copy of your data, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under US state privacy laws. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) or, in the US, to your state attorney general. Email support@macks.ai from the address on your account to exercise these rights. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

9. Security

We use TLS in transit, encrypted storage, access controls, and standard security practices. Report any security concerns to support@macks.ai.

10. Children

The services are not intended for children under 13.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect.
